Not just an ancient text, but a living foundation

of faith, identity, and tradition. Historically it comprises the first five books of the Hebrew

Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Jewish tradition holds that these sacred books were given

by God to Moses on Mount Sinai around the 13th century BCE.

Ever since the Torah has been meticulously preserved, first through oral tradition, then carefully transcribed onto parchment scrolls, its influence extends far beyond

Judaism. For example, while Exodus itself isn't a direct part of the Quran, the story of Moses

is central to Islamic scripture. It's also in the Christian Bible, but DreamWorks doesn't specify

...
