Today is Day 39 of this journey.

We are in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 22, reading verses 23 through 45, where we will hear the greatest commandment. I'm reading from the new American translation of the Bible. Please follow along,

keep your heart open to receive God's message. In the name of the Father and of the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your spirit and they shall be created and you will renew the face of the earth.

Amen.

A reading from the Holy Gospel of Matthew, chapter 22, verses 23 through 45.

On that day, Sadducees approached him saying that there was no resurrection.

They put this question to him saying,

Teacher, Moses said, if a man dies without children, his brothers shall marry his wife,

and raise up descendants for his brother. Now, there were seven brothers among us. The first married

and died, and having no descendants left his wife to his

brother. The same happened with the second and the third through all seven. Finally, the woman died.

Now, at the resurrection of the seven, whose wife will she be? For they all had been married to her jesus said to them and reply you are misled

because you do not know the scriptures or the power of god at the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage

but are like the angels in heaven and concerning the
