Welcome back to the Catholic Sprouts podcast.

We are working our way through the Gospels this school year.

Today is day 19.

We are reading from the Gospel of Matthew, and we'll be reading chapter 9 verses 1 through 26. We are still hearing about Jesus' healing miracles and in particular we're

going to hear the story of the healing of the paralytic. Now, I am reading from the New American Translation

of the Bible. As I read, please consider following along in your own Bible and taking notes

in the free gospel in a school year notebook, which you can download by following the notes

in this podcast episode.

Remember also that God's holy words alive and active.

So let's pray that God's specific message for us can reach us and change us.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your spirit and they shall be created and you will renew the face of the earth.
