What's up, Sprout's Luke Helwig, full-time missionary back with you to talk about how you are called to be a missionary.

0:35.5

Today is May 3rd and the feasts of St. James and St. Philip.

0:56.9

And it's just perfect that we get the feast of these two disciples during our time talking about evangelization. We'll come back to them later. Do you remember where we left off? St. Athanasius said, you cannot put straight in others what is warped in yourself. Well, what does that mean? Well, it means that we can't give what we don't have. Think of a well. 1:41.8

share it with others. So we have to be full of Christ in our own hearts.

1:46.3

We have to fill our bucket full of the love of Christ before we can overflow into others.

1:51.7

So how do we fill that bucket?

1:54.5

Well, I know about you guys, but I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

1:59.6

And so we're going to use that for our acronym, P, B, J, S,

2:04.5

peanut butter, jelly sandwich. So we got P. P stands for prayer. B stands for Bible. J stands for

2:12.7

joy. And S stands for sacrament. So let's look at each of those. Prayer. So prayer is what we call

2:20.5

the ongoing conversation that we have with God. In order to know someone, we have to talk to them

2:27.0

and get to know them. And so I encourage you to do that with the Lord. And I want to give you three
