We're in the season of Easter, and if you follow the daily mass readings, which you should,

you'll notice that the first reading does not come from the Old Testament like usual.

It comes from the Acts of the Apostles, and that's because the Acts of the Apostles is the story of what

happens after Jesus rises from the dead. And it's always startling to me to see the difference in the Apostles is the story of what happens after Jesus rises from the dead.

And it's always startling to me to see the difference in the Apostles from before Jesus rose from the dead to after Jesus rising from the dead.

Because you see, before Jesus rose from the dead, the apostles were attacked by a dragon named Cringe Liver.

Cringe liver is the symptoms of exposure to stench and survivor's man.

You'll include being scared of everything.

They're being afraid.

It's cringe liver wants you to be scared.

Now, being scared is not a sin.

It's an obstet dragon.

We all get scared from time to time.

But if we read the Gospels, we see Jesus trying to tell us over and over,

be not afraid. Have courage, have zeal. He's going to be with us.

And when Jesus was arrested, you see Cringed liver taking over the apostles as they all run away.

Peter even denied that he knew who Jesus was three times because he was so scared that they might arrest him.

And the apostles were all hiding, closed in a room. And then when Jesus rose from the dead and

appeared to those apostles, they were all excited. And they said, Jesus, are you going to restore
