Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Thursday, April 28th, 2020. We are still in the Easter season, and we have some incredible saints who are celebrating their feast day today. There are two saints I want to talk to you about who are

celebrating feast days. The first is St. Louis de Montfort, who was a French saint, who really

fostered a beautiful devotion to the Blessed Mother. In fact, he was one of the first to really

teach the consecration to Mary,

consecration to Jesus through Mary.

He also was very devoted to the rosary and left that as a beautiful legacy for all of us.

The second saint is a modern saint, who was an Italian mother and doctor.

St. Gianna Beretamola is celebrating her feast day today.

She was a pediatrician.

She was also a mother.

And because she valued the life of her unborn child so much,

St. Gianna actually died shortly after childbirth when she refused to sacrifice

the life of her unborn baby. Now this week we have been talking about the early church.

We started on Monday by talking about Jesus Christ who founded our church. Then we spoke about

Peter, who was the first leader of the church, and helped to establish our church. Then we spoke about Peter, who was the first leader of the church

and helped to establish our church in Rome, where it still is today. Although it's throughout

the world, it is headquartered in Rome. And then yesterday we talked about a couple of the other

people whom we might not even know all of their names,

who really got to work spreading the faith and gave the ultimate testimony to faith in Jesus
