Today is Tuesday, April 19th.

We are also, of course, still in the octave of Easter.

And we are also talking about another type of Easter, which is the divine mercy, which is just a deeper way of understanding

what happened at Easter. Of course, we know that Jesus suffered and died for our sins and then

rose from the dead. Divine mercy allows us to understand really what that means for us,

the salvation that Jesus himself is offering us if we only trust in

him. And remember, we are approaching the Feast of Divine Mercy, which is on Sunday, which is the biggest,

most loud, exciting part of Easter. So keep celebrating. Now, we've already talked about that Jesus

appeared to St. Paustina and gave her the message of the divine mercy. We've talked about the

beautiful image of the divine mercy and the chaplet. Today, we're going to start talking about

miracles associated with the divine mercy. Now, first, we're going to talk about how miracles associated with the divine mercy.

Now first, we're going to talk about how the divine mercy chaplet is oftentimes used as people approach death. Jesus himself told Faustina when he was giving her this beautiful prayer

that if said right as someone is approaching death, that the divine mercy prayer would give

someone the final perseverance. Now, what does that mean? The final perseverance. Do you know what

it means to persevere? Well, to persevere means to keep going even when it's hard, even when it's difficult,

even when you're faced by opponents and adversaries, but to keep going. What kind of final

perseverance do people who are dying face? Well, as you might know, Satan does not want you

to go to heaven. He does not want you to

die with a love and faith in Jesus Christ in your heart. He wants to take that from you, even in the

final moments of life. So oftentimes people, as they approach death, face big temptation.
