Hi, Sprouts. Today is Fri November 26, 2021. I'm Danielle Koboschik from Fem Catholic. What a week it has been. We have looked at the four women doctors of the church. First on Monday, we talked about St. Teresa of Avala and she taught us about prayer. St. Hildegard of Bingham teaches us how to

use the gifts that God has given us. St. Catherine of Siena shows us how to look for God's will, even in suffering, and rely on

him.

And yesterday we finished up with St. Cherez of Lesotho.

She teaches us her little way, rejoicing in our weaknesses, and making small sacrifices out of love for our Lord.

Today, we get to finish with Our Lady, Mary Most Holy.

There are many different titles of Mary, but they're all pointing to the same woman, Jesus' mother, and our

spiritual mother. Mary was brave, even though she was troubled and startled when the angel Gabriel

came to her at the enunciation, she accepted God's will, that she would be the mother of Jesus, saying,

Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.

Mary didn't know exactly what would happen in the future, but she still said yes.

As Catholics, we call this yes, her fiat, which means let it be done.

Like the Blessed Mother, we have opportunities in our own lives to say yes to God.

Mary was bold. If you've heard of the story about the wedding feast at Cana, it was Mary who saw that there

was a problem, that there was no more wine at the wedding feast or the wedding party.

And so she went to Jesus and said, there's no wine, you need to do something about this.

He didn't think it was his time yet to start his public miracles,

but Mary encouraged him.

She boldly said, this is what needs to happen.

We need to help these people.

And Jesus did listen to his mother, and that was his
