Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Tuesday, November 9th, 2021. Today is also the feast day of the dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome. This is such an important basilica because it is the first Catholic cathedral ever in the whole world built in the 300th under Emperor Constantine.

The Saints and the Call to Friendship with Jesus Christ. Today we will be hearing the story of St. Catherine Drexel. Now St. Catherine Drexel very well could have been greedy. She had a lot of money. So if you ever struggled with

2:13.2

Hours later, Catherine emerged from the chapel, but now she wore the simple black habit of a novice.

2:22.2

No more diamonds or fine lace. Her face was now trimmed by the stiff habit, and yet she continued to

2:30.4

radiate joy. Money is a useful tool, but it can lead us to sin.

2:37.9

Yes, we need money, but money has a funny way of never feeling like it's enough.

2:43.6

We could always use just a little bit more.

2:46.6

Soon if we aren't careful, we can start to feel possessive and greedy, unwilling to share what we

2:52.5

have with others who are in need. Jesus Christ entered this world in a poor stable, and he died
