| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:23.7 | Hey there, Sprouts. |
| 0:27.4 | Today is Tuesday, August 17th, 2021. |
| 0:34.6 | Now, this week we were talking about the seventh beatitude, which Christ said this way in Matthew's Gospel. |
| 0:40.9 | He said, blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. |
| 0:46.8 | Now, peacemakers, this means that we bring peace to the world. |
| 0:57.1 | But in order for us to bring peace to the world, to hurting relationships, to the people we encounter and the organizations we are part of, there is something that must happen first. And that must be that we have |
| 1:02.7 | peace inside of us. Because we can only bring God's peace to the world if we are filled with God's peace. Now, if you have ever had an experience |

| 1:58.7 | as a gift of God. Therefore, like all of these things, we need to spend |
| 2:04.6 | more time with God, hand over our worry, our dissatisfaction, and our emptiness, and ask him to |
| 2:12.6 | fill those places with peace. Now, this is so important, because every place in our life where we feel the worry, |
| 2:22.6 | the emptiness or the dissatisfaction, that is a place where we're telling God, you know, |
| 2:28.0 | I don't really want you to come help me here. Like I got this. I can take care of this. |
| 2:32.9 | I'm going to just get through this by worrying and feeling miserable. |
| 2:37.4 | And every time we tell God, we don't want him to come and help us in a place that causes us worry or dissatisfaction. |
| 2:45.6 | We are leaving the door open to temptation and to Satan. Satan wants very much for us to worry, for us to feel |
