| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:23.6 | Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Monday, August 17th, 2020. |
| 0:28.1 | This week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we will be talking about the 10th, the final |
| 0:33.6 | of the 10 commandments, which is, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's possessions. Or simply, |
| 0:41.9 | don't spend your whole life looking to own more and to have more. And don't always be |
| 0:49.5 | comparing what you have to other people. This is a commandment not only that helps us avoid sin, |

| 1:28.3 | But this commandment is different. |
| 1:30.6 | Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's possessions, because this is the intentions of our heart |
| 1:37.8 | that come before stealing or doing something sneaky. |
| 1:42.9 | But they also come before creating a plan for our life that |
| 1:47.7 | will make us miserable. If we decide to live our life coveting what other people have, whether it's |
| 1:54.8 | their big house, their fancy car, their great clothes, their Lego sets, their toys, whatever it is, if we spend our life |
| 2:03.4 | coveting what they have and wanting it for myself, then we will be chasing down the wrong |
| 2:10.6 | things. Now, this week, just like last week, we are going to look to some incredible saints that |
| 2:16.3 | celebrate their feast days this |
| 2:18.3 | week. And because God is so very good, whenever I do this, I look up the saints and I realize |
