thanks to God, how it is crazy not to give things to God, how we should be thankful for

all of the teachings and blessings of our Catholic faith, and how we should even be thankful

and rejoice in that Thanksgiving when we are asked to suffer.

Today, the last day of the week, we are going to be talking about the most important aspect of Thanksgiving.

And that is how it connects with the Eucharist.

Now, you might be wondering, how does Thanksgiving have anything to do with us consuming the true presence,

the true body and blood of Jesus Christ

at Mass. Well, my friends, it has everything to do with that. In fact, the word Eucharist means

Thanksgiving. It comes from a different language, but it means thanksgiving. Now let's talk about

why this is. Now, of course, you can think of it on one level that, of course, we are so thankful.

Not only that God provides for our every needs, every day, but that he even goes beyond that.

He has a meal that we can go and consume every day once we have made our first Holy Communion.

That is truly the body and blood of Jesus Christ that allows us to have a deeper and more profound

relationship with him than we ever could on our own. So of course, we are thankful for that.
