My name is Sir Roland Paterlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Rowland

on Catholic Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon saying.

This month, we are doing a series called Dragons Around the House, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain. This month, we are doing a series

called Dragons Around the House, where we learn to face, fight, and defeat the everyday dragons

that show up in the ordinary moments of your life at home. As a kid, most of your training

to be a dragon slayer is done at home. And every day, you make hundreds of little choices,

and in each moment you can

choose the saint inside of you or some second-rate version of yourself under the influence of dragons.

That's the battle of the wills that I must help you learn to master the moment of decision.

For if you can train to defeat these dragons around the house under the guidance of your first

and best trainers, your

parents, then one day you will be ready to go out in the world and chase away the darkness

of dragons that plague our land. Today's episode is titled, The Reesies Rapper that broke

the trash cans back. Here's the situation. It's nearly a month after Easter. Your Easter candy is long gone because

you took the strategy of eating it quickly so it would not tempt you any longer. The only

problem is your older sister, who has mastered the art of slaying gula, the indigo dragon of gluttony,

took the strategy of eating one small piece per day, which means her candy last well into the summer
