Today is the 29th day in the third month in the year of our Lord, 2025.

My name is Cyril and Peterlott, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Rowland

on Catholic Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

Today we continue the greatest story ever told,

the story of salvation history. In this series, we are spotlighting certain characters of the story

who were attacked by each of the seven dragons. In the first session, we discussed the fall of Adam and

Eve when they were tempted by the red dragon of pride. In the second session, we discussed how Cain was

tempted and wounded by the orange dragon of envy, which led to the blue dragon of wrath,

convincing him to kill his own brother, Abel. Last week we talked about how Noah was the only

righteous man left in the world, and Noah was able to slay the yellow dragon of sloth by persevering

and building the ark to save his

family from the floodwaters that God sent to wipe out his creation that had become infested with

dragons. God decided to start over with Noah and his family and gave them the sign of the rainbow

as the new covenant promising never to flood the earth again. Now even though Noah was righteous,

he wasn't perfect.

And the original dragon wound that had corrupted Adam and Eve was still infecting Noah and his family.

God did not ask them to bring a pair of dragons onto the ark, but dragons were in their hearts.

As they repopulated the earth with people, guess what happened?
