My name is Sir Roland Paderlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Rolone on

Catholic Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

Last week, I introduced you to the topic of the discussion for our new series, which

we're starting here on the podcast, using the phrase, Virtue stat unmedia, or Virtue

stands in the middle.

This phrase does not call us to mediocrity, as in its virtuous to be average.

No, the phrase means that virtue in its most pure

form lies in the middle of two extremes. In other words, the seven deadly dragons we've been

discussing can attack us from two sides. So it's my duty in this series to expose the second

method of attack employed by each of these deadly dragons, the opposite and most

often no less deadly extreme that the dragon deceives us with. So today, as we begin as we always do,

with the red dragon of pride. For pride is the foundational sin, and the sword of humility,

therefore, is the foundational weapon needed to practice every other virtue.

As you know, it is humility that is our weapon of virtue to slay pride.

So what are the two methods of attack that Kina docks uses to try to corrupt the virtue of humility?
