| 1:32.3 | then that could have happened. But he allowed for all of these uncertainties to be part |
| 1:38.8 | of Jesus's birth and all of these very real dangers. We're going to talk about what those dangers were |
| 1:46.7 | and perhaps what we can learn from their presence |
| 1:50.1 | at the birth of Jesus Christ. |
| 1:52.6 | So let's talk about them. |
| 1:54.2 | First of all, Jesus was born, he was conceived by a single woman. |
| 2:04.4 | Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but she was not married to him. |
| 2:09.5 | And in fact, after she broke the news to Joseph that she was already pregnant, |
| 2:13.1 | Joseph thought he should probably divorce her. |
| 2:15.6 | Thankfully, God sent an angel. |
| 2:22.5 | The message was such a big deal that he sent an angel to Joseph and told Joseph, of course, |
