Summary

May is Mary's Month! All month we will be discussing Mary's titles. These titles will not only help us understand her better, but allow us to see the role she played in Salvation History and the relationship we can have with her today. We are kicking things off today with Mary's Dogmatic Feast Days. Each of these titles refers to one of the four Marian Dogmas.

+ MONDAY: What is Dogma?

+ TUESDAY: Mary, the Mother of God

+ WEDNESDAY: Virgin Mary

+ THURSDAY: Immaculate Conception

+ FRIDAY: Assumed into Heaven.

1:23.0	church, all of May. She is a big deal. She is our mother. She is the patroness of so many places and things.
1:33.0	And when Jesus died on the cross, he gave Mary to the church. He gave her to us.
1:40.3	It is her greatest desire to lead us to heaven, to lead us to her son. So all month long,
1:47.0	we are going to be talking about Marian titles. Mary has several feast days, and a lot of those
1:54.5	feast days are connected to a specific title that we have given Mary. These titles help us understand her, her role in salvation
2:05.4	history, and her role in the church today, both on a huge scale for all people, but then also
2:13.3	in a personal way for private devotions and relationships that we can have with Mary.
