During the season of Easter we are surrounded by rich symbols that all point us back to Jesus and the Resurrection, whether we realize it or not! This week we will explore some key easter symbols.
+ MONDAY: Easter Eggs
+ TUESDAY: Lilly
+ WEDNESDAY: New Clothes and Easter Bonnets
+ THURSDAY: The Victorious Lamb
+ FRIDAY: The Empty Tomb and the Divine Mercy.
We challenge you to keep celebrating with Jesus all week! After all, we are in the Easter Octave!
In April we are learning the God Alone Suffices Prayer. Here are the words, so you can follow along:
I offer you, Lord, my thoughts: to be fixed on you;
my words: to have you for their theme;
my actions: to reflect my love for you;
my sufferings: to be endured for your greater glory.
I want to do what you ask of me:
in the way you ask,
for as long as you ask,
because you ask it.
I pray, Lord, that you enlighten my mind, inflame my will, purify my heart, and sanctify my soul.
YOU ARE INVITED: We are hosting an Easter Party inside the Clubhouse on Friday, April 5th at 5pm. Join us for prayer, games, celebration and a chance to win real prizes. You can learn more about the Clubhouse, a community for Catholic Kids here: https://catholicsprouts.com/join-the-clubhouse/
