Summary

We all, just like St. Augustine, struggle with feelings of restlessness. Things we think will make us happy don't. Pursuits that we think will lead to fulfillment don't. The truth is that our hearts will be restless until they rest in Jesus. And so, in honor of St. Augustine, who is celebrating a feast day this week, let's talk about how we can find rest for our restless hearts.

Monday: hear the biography of St. Augustine!
Tuesday: Understand that we, like St. John the Baptist, find rest in God by doing His Work.
Wednesday: Understand that we, like St. Jeanne Jugan, find rest in God by giving ourselves away as a gift of love.
Thursday: Understand that we, like St. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, find rest in God when we accept our true identity in God.
Friday: Understand that we, like all the saints, can only find relief for our restless hearts in silence and stillness with God.

0:40.1	We have learned that we can find rest and satisfaction and calm when we submit doing God's will, like St. John the Baptist,
0:48.0	when we give ourselves away as a gift of love, like St. John Gian, the foundress of Little Sisters of the Poor.
0:56.1	And when we embrace our true identity as Christians, number one, above all other things that
1:03.4	define us, just like St. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. Today we're going to keep talking
1:10.5	about rest just a little more, but it's a brand new month.
1:15.0	Welcome to September.
1:16.5	We have a whole new set of challenges in the Bia St. Kids Club and a new patron saint this month,
1:23.2	St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
1:26.5	And this month we are trying to memorize, trying to recite every
1:31.3	day, a prayer that Mother Teresa recited every day. It is called the fragrance prayer. Now,
1:37.3	Mother Teresa loved all sorts of prayer. She loved the rosary, prayed it every day. She was
1:43.9	very faithful to Eucharistic adoration.
1:47.8	And this prayer is just a beautiful little prayer about our connection to Jesus.
1:55.1	In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
