Summary

This week we are talking about humility. The two marks of humility are honesty and thankfulness. To understand humility better, let's look at the saints celebrating feast days this week.
+ Monday: On the feast day of Pope Saint Pius X, let's hear the story of Little Nellie of Holy God, the little girl that convinced him to lower the age of First Holy Communion.
+ Tuesday: Mary is the perfect example of humility, so let's her from her on the feast of the Queenship of Mary.
+ Wednesday: St. Rose of Lima knew that all she was came from God and was set aside for Jesus Christ.
+ Thursday: It's the feast of St. Nathaniel and Apostle. Let's remember that no matter who we are, Christ sees us too!
+ Friday: We round out the week with Saint Louis King of France, a man who was king, but still bowed to Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe.

0:34.8	Now, we are going to continue to hear stories of humility. But before we get there,
0:40.5	please join me in praying the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. In the name of the Father,
0:46.6	and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
0:58.4	be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
1:14.9	May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, amen. So we have been
1:22.0	talking about humility and we are reminding ourselves that the two marks of a humble life are honesty about who I am
1:31.2	and who God is, that I'm just a human being and God is infinite, but yet I am so loved by God
1:38.8	that he died for me. And also, when we are humble, we are thankful because we realize that all the good things in our life come from God.
1:47.7	So we heard the story about little Nellie of Holy God, a little five-year-old that really believed in the Eucharist.
1:55.4	We heard the story of Mary, who is the perfect example of humility.
2:00.7	Yesterday, we met St. Rose of Lima, and today we are
2:04.5	going to talk about Nathaniel, one of the 12 apostles. Now, let's be honest, we don't know a lot about
2:13.1	Nathaniel. He has mentioned a couple of times in the gospel. We know he was one of the 12, but the only
2:20.1	real story we have about Nathaniel is about his calling. We hear that he's sitting under a fig tree,
2:30.7	and when he first meets Jesus, well, before he meets Jesus, he questions if anything good can come from Nazareth.
