Greetings young Squires, Today is the 10th day and the sixth month in the year of our

Lord, 2023. My name is Sir Roland Paterlaught, and you're listening to Saturdays with

Sir Roland on Catholic Sprouts where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

There's some exciting celebrations coming up this week.

Tomorrow's the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. The next Friday is

the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. So this is the perfect time to end our series on the

seven deadly dragons. We've been discussing the seventh dragon, Agaba, the violet dragon of lust.

The most holy body and blood of Jesus is the perfect model for us to live the virtue of chastity.

And last week we talked about the importance of the heart and how it represents love.

There's no greater love than the love of God. The sacred heart of Jesus burns with love for all

of us, and it was that heart of Jesus that was pierced for our offenses and crushed for our sins.

The body and blood of Jesus and his most sacred heart teaches what true love is, which leads to our topic for today.

We've discussed the color and sin of the violet dragon. We heard a letter from St. Philomena, the legendary trainer,

to help us slay the violet dragon, and we learned about the bow and arrow of chastity, the weapon

we can use to slay the dragon. This week we must discuss the armor to protect us from the dragon,

and that armor is the belt of truth, again given to us by St. Paul in Ephesians chapter 6.

There is so much confusion in our world about truth and love because of the deceptions of the violet dragon. Sometimes we

even separate those two words and we ask things like, should I tell somebody the truth, or should
