Roland on Catholic Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon sling. Today we have a very special guest on the podcast.

We're discussing the blue dragon of wrath,

and I have invoked the intercession of the great St. John Paul II, one of my heroes.

And through my prayer, I have asked him to write you a letter, to train you to slay this dragon.

Here now to read the letter is my good

friend, Father Nick. Dear members of Sir Roland, Paterlott's Dragon Slayers Training Guild,

I would like to take this opportunity to knock on the door of your home, eager to greet you

and spend time with you. I do so in the way of a letter.

As Sir Roland has asked me to share my advice on slaying the Blue Dragon named Chera.

The Blue Dragon is a very dangerous dragon, and to successfully slay the dragon you must know and understand the meaning and purpose of life.

Life is not about gaining the most toys, as a green dragon would propose.

Life is not about finding a path of least resistance as a yellow dragon would propose.

Life is not about beating everyone else as the orange dragon would propose.

And life is not about you and getting all your wants as the Red Dragon would propose.

As my good friend, Pope Benedict XVI, said,

You weren't made for comfort, you were made for greatness.

Yes, you're called to be saints, and to spend eternity in heaven, each and every one of you.

And I believe you can do it.

If you forget this great universal

called the holiness, then you'll open the door to the blue dragon. He'll slither into your life
