0:32.3	As you likely know, today is also Ash Wednesday.
0:36.4	Today is the beginning of the Lenton season,
0:41.0	which is a super important time of preparation,
0:48.4	of just refinement so that we are able to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter.
0:55.9	So we're going to talk a lot about Lent and Ash Wednesday, but first, please join me in praying the Anama Christi.
1:02.1	In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, amen. Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
1:10.3	Body of Christ save me. Blood of Christ denebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ strengthen me. Good Jesus, hear me.
1:16.5	Within your wounds, conceal me. Do not permit me to be parted from you. From the evil foe protect me.
1:24.9	At the hour of my death, call me, and bid me come to you to praise you with all your
1:31.0	saints forever and ever amen so we've been talking about the mass and i sincerely hope that you
1:40.0	attend mass today it's a beautiful liturgy on Ash Wednesday. We're going to talk a little bit
1:46.9	about the special parts of the mass today, but first, let's talk about the Lenton season.
1:53.8	So, as you likely know, Lent lasts for 40 days. It starts today, and it ends on Easter. Now, if you take out your calendar and you
2:03.2	count all the days, you're probably going to realize that from today through Easter,
2:07.6	there's more than 40 days. And that is because Lent does not include the Sundays that we
2:13.5	celebrate during Lent. Because Sundays always are days for celebration of the resurrection.
2:20.4	So those days you are welcome to continue with your fasting and for sure your prayer.
2:26.9	But if you like, those are a little bit of a reprieve.
2:30.3	So we do have 40 days ahead of us.
