let's go back to those verses from the ninth chapter of Isaiah

that we are memorizing,

that really remind us of true fortitude,

despite the suffering that we might be feeling now. Be brave.

So this week we've been talking about fortitude, the gift of the Holy Spirit that gives us

supernatural courage to persevere no matter what we are facing. Now the wonderful thing about

the Catholic faith is that there are so many saints. I am constantly discovering new saints.

And each saint demonstrates for us fortitude in a unique way that is very specific to the time that they lived and the challenges that they

faced. Now, St. Silvers is a saint that I honestly just learned about. We're preparing this
