We spent the last four weeks discussing

the red dragon of pride named Kina Docks. Red is the first color on the visible light spectrum,

but now it's time to move on to the next wavelength of light, the color orange. So what goodness,

beauty, and truth does the color orange reveal to the world? Well, orange is the color of joy and creativity.

It is the color of a beautiful sunset or sunrise.

And each sunset and sunrise is unique, just like each person is unique.

Each sunset and sunrise is a creative masterpiece by the divine artist that gives us hope,

awe, and wonder.

And when this color does what it's designed to do, we marvel at the beauty of every person

and all of creation.

In fact, it's this time of year, the fall, when I think of the color orange the most.

Living in Northwest Ohio, the entire landscape begins to take on an orange hue with the incredibly vibrant changing

leaves that are so orange they can simply take your breath away. All the crops that were planted

in the spring have completed their growth cycle and when they were harvested, they too

filled the landscape with a golden orange color, signifying the end of a season in the same way

that the setting sun signifies the end of the season in the same way that the setting sun signifies

the end of the day. It's during this time of year that God's paintbrush is most active in this
