And today we're going to be talking about flowers

because one thing that St.

Terez absolutely loved was nature.

Yeah, St. Torres, she loved being outside. She loved the outdoors. She loved seeing how beautiful

the outside was. And that led to this belief in her heart that she was a little flower of God.

Now, you would think a name like Little Flower, she would get as a nickname from somebody

else. But she was really the one who believed this about herself, that God has all kinds of

flowers around the world. Like the Carmelites, they believed, and she was a Carmelite,

that the world was God's Garden. And every single person was a different type of flower and could

be out there. But Therese didn't think she was a big fancy rose or a giant sunflower. She thought of

herself as the tiny little flowers, ones that you find out in the woods, ones that you find where

you're out walking in a field. You're like, is that a weed or is that a flower? Yeah. I'm going to do a flower.
