O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day

for all the intentions of your sacred heart and union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world,

for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month, amen.

Sprout, so this week we are continuing to talk about the Eucharist, which was so of utmost importance to Blessed Carlo Acutus, the Eucharist really was his highway to heaven.

And we're talking about two words that the church uses to describe the Eucharist, the source and the summit of our faith.

Yesterday we talked about source, and today we're going to talk about summit so first of all

what does this word mean summit well if you think about a mountain range the summit is the

highest point and so imagine with me that you are out in the middle of the ocean and you happen upon a

beautiful tropical island. Well, you don't really know where to go, where's the best water source,

or even which way is which, until you climb the highest point on this island,

let's say there's a mountain,

you climb to the top of the mountain,

and it is from up there that you can see everything,

that you can see which way the river is

or where animals are that you might want to hunt.

So we climb to this top highest point so that we can see.

And so that is what the Eucharist is.
