0:33.4	Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Monday, June 27th, 2020. Now, this is a very exciting week on the Catholic Spouts because we are going to be doing something totally out of the ordinary, totally brand new.
0:40.8	We're going to be starting it this week on Wednesday and it will be taking us all the way
0:45.7	into the middle of August. We, if you choose to join us, will be doing a 33-day preparation

1:06.1	only do it on the weekdays. So in the end, it's going to be a little bit more than 33 days.
1:12.2	But we will reach the conclusion just before the Great Feast of the Assumption on August 15th, which will be the day
1:20.1	that your family is welcome to consecrate yourselves totally to Jesus through Mary. We will be
1:26.3	consecrating this podcast, totally to Jesus through Mary. We will be consecrating this podcast, totally to Jesus through Mary, and our little family

1:33.8	So this is a big and momentous occasion.
1:37.6	So in order to really understand what we are going to be embarking on as we prepare

1:46.6	what is consecration. So consecration means to be set apart for a special purpose or use.
1:56.2	Now, the best way to understand this is to think about the church where you celebrate Holy Mass each week.
2:02.1	Now, up front at the front, there is a table, right? A table. Although it's sometimes maybe a
2:10.0	little bit different looking than a table that you eat supper at each night, it is a table.
2:14.2	But we know that this table, which we call the altar, it's not meant for ordinary things.
2:23.1	Like if you brought your school bag and started doing your homework on this table, we all would
2:29.1	know and agree that that was wrong. This table is not meant for ordinary things.
2:35.7	It has been consecrated.
