Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Wednesday, November 7th, 2018. This week on the Catholic Sprouts

0:28.0

podcast, we are talking about saints as we value saints in our Catholic faith. We've talked about

0:35.7

what it means to be a saint and the fact that we are all

0:38.6

called to be a saint. And yesterday we talked about the canonization process, the process by which a

0:46.1

person is recognized in the Catholic Church as a saint. Today we need to tackle some difficult

2:20.1

2:27.5

The same is true with saints. We keep pictures of our favorite saints, of saints we feel close to. We keep statues of them so that we are

2:38.1

reminded of their presence. We're reminded that they are close to us, that they are listening to our

2:45.8

needs even when we can't see them. They are like family to us or they can be. And so that is a good
