On November 12, 1966, a grave digger working in a cemetery near West Virginia dropped

his tools and gaped in disbelief as a humanoid with massive wings glided to the air above

him, skimming over the nearby treetops before disappearing from sight.

Although the witness was working with several other men, he was the only one among them

who witnessed the bizarre entity passing over the cemetery.

He later described the figure as a brown human being.

Three days after the first sighting took place, two young married couples from the point

pleasant area claimed they'd had a frightening encounter with the same creature.

Roger and Linda Scarberry were out for an aimless cruise in Roger's Black 57 Chevy Belair,

with Steve and Mary Millett.

A late night time killer that proved to be far more exciting than anyone had anticipated.

As they drove past an old munitions plant known by the locals as the TNT area, Linda noticed

two large, luminous eyes glowing with a crimson hue and the darkness beside the old North

power plant.

She pointed them out with a screech of surprise and shock, prompting Roger to bring the

car to a halt so they could all get a better look at the figure, huddled against the wall.

They were all struck dumb by what they saw lurking in the shadows.

It was a humanoid figure that towered seven feet in the air.

Features were described by Linda Scarberry as monstrous.

The creature appeared to have a pair of enormous wings folded behind its back.

Roger's prowess has broke and he stomped on the gas pedal peeling away with a screech

of rubber as the terrifying figure gave chase.
