Hey everyone, hey Kara.

So this is exciting for me, So you are a regular guest on the nightly news and talk

show that I co-host and produce Take Part Live. And you're often a panelist and we tend to book you when we talk about

kind of financial stuff like millennial finances for millennial so I want to know first how did you get into this kind of world of an investing and

understanding lending and credit cards and just all things financial.

Sure.

Yeah, well we're sitting on the floor of my less than million dollar apartment, so I don't

know how well I understand finances, but I started off my first job out of college was as a

personal finance reporter at the street, which is this finance website on Wall Street.

And so it kind of thrust me into finance and I wasn't really that

interested in it but over time you do get interested because you start to realize

that all these areas of your life they're impacted by financial decisions they're impacted by financial decisions.

They're impacted by what the Fed does.

Every time you want to eat something,

you have to pull out your credit card or your debit card.

So some company is impacting your ability to pay for things and at the end of the day finance actually matters.

Sure. And so that's what interested me in it is this thing that touches everybody.

And there's a lot to it. It's kind of like following sports but the outcome matters.
