Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to another

mornings with the masters.

We're devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are picking up with day two of our devotion

on the Bible app titled God is blank.

There's a link to that in description if you guys want to follow along.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture that I'm also going to pick with the Devo.

The first scripture is Ephesians chapter 2 versus 4 and 5.

And it says this, but God is so rich in mercy and he loves us so much that even though

we were dead because of our sins,

he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. The next scripture is Hebrews chapter 4

verse 16 and it says this. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will

receive his mercy and we will find grace to help us when we need

it most. Devotionals titled, God is merciful. And it says this. As we talked about yesterday,

God is always pursuing us, even when we least deserve it. And that characteristic is the hallmark of his mercy.

All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's standard, which creates a barrier between us and our

perfect holy God. But in God's mercy, he sent Jesus to take the punishment we deserved, death,

and create a way for us to have eternal life

with him. So God's mercy means we don't get what we deserve, but it doesn't stop there. God's

mercy isn't just about providing us a way out. It's also about God making his way in. He didn't

just remove our sin. He sent his son. He made a way by meeting us
