And as always, I'm going to read the scripture that I'm also going to pick with the Devo.

The first scripture is Ephesians chapter 2 versus 4 and 5.

And it says this, but God is so rich in mercy and he loves us so much that even though

we were dead because of our sins,

he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. The next scripture is Hebrews chapter 4

verse 16 and it says this. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will

receive his mercy and we will find grace to help us when we need

it most. Devotionals titled, God is merciful. And it says this. As we talked about yesterday,

God is always pursuing us, even when we least deserve it. And that characteristic is the hallmark of his mercy.
