I'm Doug Parker, and this is your Sunday morning news brief for September 30th, 2018.

Central Florida is going through the cruise ship shuffle this weekend as Carnival Magic departed Port Canaveral on Saturday for her new home in Miami.

She will join Carnival Horizon, who arrived last weekend.

Carnival Breeze will take over Carnival Magic's itineraries in Port Canaveral. And if things are heating up in Grand Cayman, representatives from both Carnival Breeze will take over Carnival Magic's itineraries in Port Canaveral.

And if things are heating up in Grand Cayman, representatives from both Carnival and Royal Caribbean

warned that if Grand Cayman doesn't step up their game where docking facilities are concerned,

Royal Caribbean said that within the next five years, traffic could drop from 450,000 to potentially 250,000 if a new birthing facility isn't built.

On Saturday, Carnival Freedom's disembarkation was delayed because of flooding, and if the rain continues, it could impact Sunday's sailing of Carnival Vista.
