It's a beautiful Monday morning.

It feels fresh.

It feels as though it's a new beginning.

It feels as though there could be something in the air that could be really, really good this week.

Just kidding.

No, it's true.

We've got a battle of wills in the Conservative Party, Rishi Sunak versus the people who used to like Boris Johnson and now aren't sure if they like him as much as they used to, but they still quite like being right-winged.

Suella Braverman is going to say today that at think tank meeting that if the British people don't stop forgetting how to work, they will in fact forget how to work and will bring too many people in here who will be doing their jobs for them. There's still a million

vacancies apparently. We've got five million people here who don't actually work, so it's not

that clear how she's going to fix that. Stopping the boats is proving more difficult than they thought,

but we'll be talking to a great many people this morning about the immigration situation because we've got Alex Phillips on. We've also got, of course, Peter Hitchens on.

He's got something to say about the Archbishop of Wokebury, Archbishop Wokeby, as we called him last week,

because he seems to think it's not very Christian to not let everybody in. Peter Hitchers disagrees. John Rental is here to talk to us about Kirstama,

who apparently wants to invite people from the European Union to vote in British elections.

He also wants people under the age of 16 to vote.
