Benedict Spence. Good morning, Benedict. Will Britain ever stop the boats? At some point it will,

but you can't actually put a timeline on this. It's certainly not

going to do it under Kirstama. It's not going to do it under the Labour Party. If reform

were to get in, you might see a suppression of it, a beginning of a reduction in the right

direction, but I do think that it will take a little bit of time.

And that's saying that, it'll take a little bit of time

when we have a government in place that actually wants to do it.

This is the issue, Neil Wallace.

The political will is not there from this administration to stop the boats.

It's not just Starmer's government, which is weak need enough and is a huge part of the problem.

But it's the civil service.

That system, our immigration system, the immigration appeal system, is a huge part of the problem.

It's an industry, isn't it?

It's an absolute industry.

One thing that I think Nigel Farage has talked about, has had the courage to talk about,

is we have to get out of the ECHR.

If you take away that bedrock in which they have built this very lucrative business,

a very damaging system for this country, then at least you've got a way to be able to say,

out you go without anything like as much delay or fuss or excuse.
