Now, there are many beautiful historic villages dotted around the country and Crivy in Aberdeenshire is perhaps one of the more unusual. It comprises little more than a handful of colourful cottages and they're built on this really narrow strip between the cliffs and the

sea and the sea is so close it feels like you could actually touch it from the front door

now there's no shop no pub no road yet there is this really strong sense of community in

krivy

and that gives the place a real identity.

I met up with local resident Anne Weisman and she's an author and artist

and she's just written a book of poems all about the history of this tiny village
