We're joined by Lockdown 49ers and Lockdown NFL's Brian Peacock

in segments two and three to talk about the matchup with the San Francisco 49ers in our

initial game preview for this week's contest in Cincinnati, the home opener against the

San Francisco 49ers. Before that, we've got some news to update you on

the Bengals released Jordan Willis and signed a linebacker. We've got our initial observations

from looking at the All-22 film. Then we'll come back with Brian Peacock and talk about

the different matchups in the San Francisco game.

Cincinnati Bengals today on September 10th released defensive end, third round pick from 2017, Jordan Willis, who was ostensibly the 11th guy they kept on the defensive line.

That means that Andrew Brown was ahead of him on the depth chart.

That's a fun note.

And in doing so, the corresponding move, they signed former San Francisco 49er for this preseason only,

La Roy Reynolds, who's a journeyman linebacker special teamer,

hasn't graded particularly well for pro football focus, but maybe they feel like they want

another linebacker active, another special teamer.
