writes in a question. I seek to respond to it. Here we go. This is from Marie and

Marie lives in Los Angeles.

See, I've heard you saying you will continue to feel pain,

and do you understand what this pain came to teach you?

I feel I can apply this when I process most of my struggles,

particularly when dealing with my family.

However, about eight months ago, I fostered a dog that was

very ill. My family and I fell in love with her and decided to adopt her when the animal rescue

organization said she was ready for adoption. One day the rescue took her to a vet visit and she was euthanized.

I feel that we didn't have a chance to say goodbye and that she died without the only family she knew around her.

My sadness is endless and I can't understand why.

Or what I'm supposed to learn from this.

I feel too embarrassed to talk about it because she was a dog, not a human, and we only

had her for two weeks.

Why am I so impacted by her death even after eight months?

Why do I start crying every time I see your picture? Is this pain really trying to teach me something?

How can I find out what it is and be free from it?
