Hey everyone, welcome to Critical Hit a Major Spoiler's Dungeons & Dragons podcast.

So glad that you could be with us again this week as we continue the adventures of Orom,

Ket, Randus and Torque and our evil Dungeon Master Rod Rico on his continuing quest to kill

us all.

That's right.

Last time, I think Orom was taking a nice warm bath and freshening up and everybody

else was having some fun down in the bar.

That's right.

Don't have the smoking room.

So Torque and Ket and kind of by extension Randus walked in later, have made a new friend

named Prince Elk who is a halfling who is dressed as someone pointed out outside of the show

pretty much dressed like the Sultan from Aladdin.

Really kind of comically so.

And had just agreed to play Rise of the Monarchs with Ket and Torque at the price of one

gold piece, which is by the way, you know.

Something is, you know, problematic if you go to a very high end place, they're basically

gambling away fortunes.

But gambling a gold piece is kind of a big deal.

I mean, you can eat for a couple days off of a gold piece.

Hey, you can stay in the hotel for a week for a gold piece.

There you go.
