Hey everybody, welcome to another exciting episode of Critical Hit. A major spoiler is Dungeons

0:15.0

and Dragons podcast. We're so glad you could join us. I know last week some of you may be

0:19.0

a little upset that we only had that 15 minute to show, but some of you've been really

0:22.6

asking about the dynamics of how certain elements work. So we thought we'd spend a little

0:26.8

bit of time talking about rituals, and hopefully you have a little bit greater understanding

0:31.6

of the rituals. And who knows, maybe Willi will be able to use those this week in the

0:36.1

show. Rod Riegos, our Dungeon Master, last time we had just met a crazy old man who had

0:43.2

an airship, and we were getting ready to head back to our rooms before meeting the king

0:49.9

0:54.2

1:00.1

anything, you did have an opportunity, more trail rations or supplies or a different weapon

1:09.9

or something else. Anybody? Are we at a point where we would need to buy rations necessarily?

1:17.5

We were talking about Rod Riegos about this kind of really before we recorded, and we did

1:22.5

get some more XP for people that are into that kind of thing. We're up to 1779 now. I asked

1:28.0

Rod Riegos, I said, are we really at a point where we need to buy new armor or weapons?

1:34.6

And he kind of said it's up to us, but he didn't think that we were in need of new

1:40.0

playing swords. And then you said dragons, well, first off, you can't really buy magic

1:43.4

items at this point. That's just kind of not available to you. Your armor and weapons don't

1:50.3

degrade like in other games. Oh, they don't? No. Do they rust?

1:55.8

Presumably. I mean, I would imagine that Torx Axe is pretty close to being worn out.

2:03.0

To falling apart just because of how hard he hits things with it. Right. Right.

2:07.8

But it's still essentially functional. It's just a cool looking ax with a lot of chips on the blade.
