in with all the others lately.

We just lost a lot of the markers we used to rely on.

You know that, days feel like months, months feel like an eternity.

That's probably what makes Hulu's Palm Springs the perfect movie for this time.

It's a film about two people who are forced to repeat the same day.

The film stars Andy Sandberg as Niles and our guest this week, Kristen Milyati, as Sarah.

Palm Springs is a romantic comedy and it's a movie about a time loop, not unlike Groundhog

Day or Russian Doll.

It's a movie that's almost self-aware.

Yeah, Niles says it's one of those time loop situations.

But Palm Springs is more than just a clever premise.

It's a funny and unique film about relationships, about depression, about what it means to

be alive.

Linda Holmes, the host of NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hour, talked with Kristen Milyati recently

about the complex portrayal of Sarah in Palm Springs.
