Summary

The Kansas City Chiefs are in crisis this offseason. After missing the postseason, losing Patrick Mahomes to injury and seeing Rashee Rice once again mired in legal issues, it appears that the Chiefs dominance is truly coming to an end and there is no guarantee they are real contenders in 2026 either. Similarly, the changing of the guard is affecting Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens as the coaching switch could be something that ends Baltimore's recent run AND sends Lamar Jackson out of town. The Cincinnati Bengals look like they may let Trey Hendrickson walk for nothing in a move that would be classic Bengals and signal they refuse to take Joe Burrow's prime seriously. Finally, in the NFC, the Detroit Lions are getting further away from re-establishing themselves while the Philadelphia Eagles are also losing their hold on the NFC as the roster loses talent.
