| 1:53.0 | This legislation passed with unanimous bipartisan support. |
| 2:00.0 | But now violent crime is up across America. |
| 2:04.0 | And the funding and policies of law enforcement agencies are becoming a flashpoint for voters and for politicians. |
| 2:11.0 | Well the increase in violent crime and especially murders is really quite striking, particularly considering the 30-year decline that preceded it. |
