Welcome to sideline sanity. Some of you know that I make my home in Minnesota. And so I was front and center with the George Floyd incidents of 2020. And front and center as our city council in Minneapolis asked to defund the police. And I thought,

this is not a good idea. I don't know how anyone could think this is a good idea. And I realized

what it was born of, but I knew it wasn't a good idea that it was a knee-jerk reaction that was just not rooted

in second level, third-level thinking.

It was something awful happened.

Let's do something quick.
