Summary

I had the opportunity to be a speaker at CrimeCon 2024. I delve into the critical role that interactive communities, like my vibrant community of nearly a million Law Nerds, play in shaping a more informed and ethical public discourse around high-profile cases and legal phenomena. Learn about the delicate balance between engaging content and responsible journalism, the importance of legal literacy in media consumption, and how content creators can leverage their platforms to promote understanding, empathy, and justice. communities like ours.

1:05.0

I always want to see creators creating their own version of our community,

whatever that thing is, because the more positive communities we have online

1:14.8

the more spaces we have for people to connect, to learn, to learn about one

1:19.5

another, to learn about themselves, to explore thoughts and concepts to ask questions and have

1:25.8

conversations because the only bad question is the one that does not get

1:30.3

asked and especially when we are connecting in more online spaces it's not always

1:36.0

easy to ascertain if you can genuinely ask a question and get a genuine response and not get attacked, get snorked at or whatever.

1:46.2

And I think this topic is something we need to continue to talk about and I am so

1:52.1

incredibly grateful for you as a part of this community that also wants to have conversations online who embodies I have questions and stays hydrated.
