0:38.0	And you're And you're And you're It's the end of the month so it's time to share some updates. I'd like to start today with the story of Wilma Acosta. Three weeks ago, the night of
0:54.4	November 25th into the 26th, just after Thanksgiving, Wilma went out with some friends and
0:59.7	she has not been seen since. I will be doing an episode very soon with members of her family
1:04.5	with more details but for now we want to get all of the information out we can in
1:08.9	the hopes that someone who saw something can help them. This information is what I've collected from talking
1:14.7	to family members and other community members. It is not official or from public statements,
1:19.7	so the information might change, but this is what is known now.
1:23.0	Wilma moved to Portland in September from California.
1:27.0	She was happy to start her job at Kaiser and was doing well.
1:30.0	Going out, she found a home away from home at Dixie's Tavern at Third and Cooch in Old Town, downtown Portland.
1:36.0	Friends from California were with her on the weekend of the 26th, and they all went to Dixies.
1:41.0	For those unfamiliar with Portland, Old Town is located on the west side and downtown
1:46.1	Portland. If you come into the city via the Burnside Bridge, it's on the right. In my late 20s and early 30s, town was where myself and friends went for a night out.
1:55.6	We had our favorite karaoke place, but there were, before COVID, a lot of bars in a very close proximity.
2:02.1	It is still the home of Darcelcells and C.C. slaughters,
2:05.0	our drag bar and one of my favorite gay bars.
2:07.0	There are a couple of strip clubs and other establishments.
