Crime Alert, I'm Nancy Grace, breaking crime news now. Christopher Chase shoots his father

dead after an argument. Chase's mom watches it all, but instead of calling police, she

helps Chase. Dismember the body. Putting pieces in a 55-gallon drum. While mom stays home,

cleaning up the mess, Chase takes the drum to a vacant home and sets it on fire. A neighbor

calls firefighters who spot Chase at the scene, but he gets away. Nancy, Chase runs about a

block from the fire before breaking into a home and holding a family of three at gunpoint.

Chase demands the keys to their car, but seems to change his mind about running and calls 911

to turn himself in. The family was not hurt. Authorities have not determined what the father and

son were fighting over that led to the shooting and are still investigating. Christopher Chase, 32,

now charged with murder, kidnap, ag assault, mother, Melissa Chase, 56, facing tampering with evidence.

A woman waits inside the family truck while her husband loads groceries. Then, Yamilla,

LeBord, hops in the driver's seat, tells the woman to get out and tries to take off as the husband

yells for LeBord to get out. LeBord can't get the truck in gear and is arrested on a tip to theft.

LeBord released that very afternoon. Just four hours later, hops into an unlocked car in a public

library and drives off. Cops catch her just a few miles away and haul her back to jail on theft.
