Crime Alert, I'm Nancy Grace, breaking crime news now Jamie Brun's eight-year-old daughter

screams, waking up for 16-year-old sister. The teen finds Brun trying to drown the eight-year-old

in the bathtub. The older sister rinses the girl from mom's grasp, runs to a neighbor

to call 911. The worry now is for six-year-old still in the home.

Nancy, when South Carolina police arrive, Brun becomes aggressive and grabs for an officer's

gun. Brun is subdued with a taser in restraint and a cruiser while officers search the home

for Brun's youngest daughter. The six-year-old girl is found lying in bed, not breathing.

It appears Brun drowned the sleeping girl and put her back in bed. Officers have not yet

said what Brun's motive may have been.

Brun 37 charged with murder and attempted murder.

Kavion Thomas, an inmate at Anna-Lana Prison, spends months using bits of metal to tunnel

through a shower wall. But not to escape. Thomas wants to attack an inmate in a neighboring

sail block, stabbing the Rodney Russell multiple times before guards separate them. A solid

charge is now pending against Thomas, extending his already-lengthy sentence. More crime
