It is by a familiar author to Clark's World Robert Reed. Now Robert has had 11 novels published. He won the first annual

El-Ron Hubbard writers of the Future Contest in 1986 and was a finalist for the John W Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 1987.

He has had over 200 shorter works published in a variety of magazines and anthologies.
