Whatever happened to Charles Morgan, businessman Mr. Morgan disappeared one day in 1977 after leaving his home in Tucson, Arizona. When he returned to his home

a few days later, he was unrecognizable. It wasn't so much that his physical appearance had changed,

but rather, for a start, he was unable to communicate. He seemed to have lost his ability to speak.

Unable to talk, his concerned wife got a notepad and asked him to write down what he wanted to tell her. When she read it, she was

stunned. He wrote down that he had been kidnapped, tortured, and made to swallow a hallucogenic

drug, been painted on his throat.

Then he wrote more.

He said he was an agent with the feds and his role was to target organised crime.

His wife had known none of this and knew him only to be a successful escrow agent.

She had no idea what to think.

Mr Morgan refused to go into any further details,

however, and he also refused to inform the police. But he didn't end there. A few weeks later,

he vanished again. This time, he didn't return home at all. His body was found 11 days later in the

desert, 40 miles outside of Tucson. He was wearing a

bulletproof vest, but had been shot in the head. And the reports indicated he was shot from behind

and had most likely been kneeling when he'd been shot. He'd been shot with his own magnum gun.

No fingerprints were found on the gun which lay by his side. When his mysterious death was investigated, it was officially

ruled that he had committed suicide. For his wife, family, and some reporters, they found this

impossible to believe, and it made no sense to them.

Not only had he previously disappeared and returned drugged, and had apparently been mentally tortured

so badly, they'd lost the ability to even talk, yet now he'd committed suicide by shooting himself

in the back of the head, yet left no fingerprints on his gun.
